How it started

Three chapters, one kitchen

01

A family-run rest stop on Highway 307

Seven Sisters Motel & Restaurant sits right on Provincial Road 307, minutes from the Winnipeg River, the Seven Sisters Generating Station and the western edge of Whiteshell Provincial Park. What began as a roadside stop for travellers grew into a locally owned, family-run gathering place — the kind of small-town restaurant in eastern Manitoba where work crews, cabin traffic and folks from down the road all end up at the same counter.

02

Homestyle cooking people drive out for

Our kitchen still does things from scratch: homemade pizza that regulars order by the box, soup made fresh daily, burgers and fries, sandwiches and hearty Canadian breakfast plates. Guest favourites run from Homemade Salisbury Steak and the Grilled Chicken Burger to Mexican Pizza, Butter Chicken, Samosa Platter and Chickpeas Curry — generous portions, honest prices, no chain-restaurant shortcuts.

03

A room, a meal and a cold one in one stop

Clean, comfortable motel rooms sit steps from the dining room and licensed beverage room, so guests can check in, eat well and stay put for the night. Dine in with us, call ahead on (204) 348-3106 for takeout, or order online — we look after work crews, road-trip groups and families all week long.
